Following today’s ASX announcement by NTAW Holdings, we are pleased to advise that Get A Grip Tyres Pty Ltd has agreed to acquire the assets of the Black Rubber WA operations at Kewdale and Port Hedland.
Subject to customary completion conditions, Get A Grip Tyres will continue servicing and supplying customers from these locations, upon completion.
Throughout this process, the priority for both organisations is ensuring a smooth transition for customers and employees. We are pleased to be working together on this transition and are confident that Get A Grip Tyres’ established Western Australian operations, local ownership and commitment to customer service provide a strong platform for the continued support of Black Rubber WA customers.
Get A Grip Tyres is a well-established, locally owned Western Australian tyre business specialising in truck, bus, 4WD and off-the-road (OTR) tyre servicing and supply. The transition will provide customers with an expanded Western Australian service network and additional capability to continue supporting metropolitan and regional operations. Following completion, Get A Grip Tyres will operate dedicated OTR grab truck assets from each of its Perth, Karratha, Port Hedland and Newman locations, providing enhanced response capability across Western Australia.
Customers will also continue to be supported through the iTMS tyre management platform, backed by an experienced team focused on tyre performance reporting, fleet data and customer insights to help drive fleet performance.
The supply of retread tyres will also continue, recognising the important role retreads play in fleet performance, total cost of ownership and environmental, social and governance (ESG) outcomes.
Over the coming weeks, our teams will contact customers to discuss the transition and ensure account, ordering and invoicing arrangements are in place ahead of completion. Until then, it remains business as usual, with your existing contacts and service arrangements unchanged.
